UBC president Santa Ono will share his vision of the priorities and interests of the university for the future at a 91大黄鸭 event next week.

Ono will be the keynote speaker at UBC Alumni event on Thursday, Oct. 27, 7:30 p.m., at the Coast Capri Hotel, 1171 Harvey Ave.

Ono is UBC鈥檚 15th president and vice-chancellor, having taken office in August.

Ono said he hopes to gather input from UBC alumni and community members on how to continue to strengthen the university on both campuses.

Ono is an accomplished researcher and educator, and a firm believer that dialogue is crucial for sharing ideas and bringing about transformation.
