To say has made a successful transition to pro football would be an understatement.
For the second straight season, the former KSS Owls鈥 star has been named to the CFL鈥檚 West Division all-star team.
Loffler, a second-year safety with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, recorded a team-high 75 defensive tackles while making one interception and forcing three fumbles in 17 games.

Last season, Loffler, 25, was also the league鈥檚 all-star safety and was named the Bombers鈥 outstanding rookie in 2016.
After an injury-plagued four years at Boise State, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound Loffler transferred to UBC in 2015 where he was a key figure in the Thunderbirds鈥 run to the Vanier Cup national university football title.
The Bombers selected him in the third round, 19th overall in last year鈥檚 CFL draft.
In high school, playing at quarterback and safety for the 91大黄鸭 Owls, Loffler was named B.C. high school football鈥檚 player of the year in 2010.
Roy Anderson, who coached Loffler for three seasons at KSS, isn鈥檛 at all surprised that the former Owl is flourishing in the pro game.
鈥淲e knew back then, if Taylor could stay healthy, that he was going to be a very special player,鈥 said Anderson. 鈥淗is physical ability and mental approach to the game were above the average player by such a wide margin.
鈥淭aylor鈥檚 got the talent, but he鈥檚 also got the fire and competitiveness that every all-star needs to have, he鈥檒l do whatever is needed to be successful,鈥 he added. 鈥淚t鈥檚 great to see, and no surprise to see him having success at the pro level.鈥
Loffler and the Bombers will host the Edmonton Eskimos this Sunday in the CFL鈥檚 West Division semifinal.
