In another move ahead of Thursday's WHL trade deadline, the 91大黄鸭 Rockets traded Landon Cowper Wednesday night (Jan. 8).
91大黄鸭 sent the 2006-born defenceman to the Everett Silvertips in exchange for a seventh round selection in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft.
鈥淲e had a chance to move Landon to one of the top teams in the league,鈥� said Rockets President and General Manager Bruce Hamilton. 鈥淟andon has been a great Rocket both off and on the ice. We thank him for his time here and wish him the best moving forward.鈥�
Cowper had played in 57 career WHL games, all for the Rockets. He scored one goal and added six assists.
The Rockets are back in action on Friday, Jan. 10 when they welcome the Prince George Cougars to Prospera Place. Puck drop is at 7:05 p.m.
