More the 200 skaters from 28 clubs will converge on °±ð±ô´Ç·É²Ô²¹â€™s Capital News Centre from Thursday through Sunday for the annual BC-Yukon Sectional Skating Championships.
The host 91´ó»ÆѼ Skating Club will be well represented with 20 skaters, led by 2016 Canadian novice ·É´Ç³¾±ð²Ô’s runner-up Olivia Gran, who was also second as a junior in ³§±ð±è³Ù±ð³¾²ú±ð°ù’s Autumn Classic.
Also skating for 91´ó»ÆѼ will be McKenna Colthorp, who placed fourth in the Autumn Classic junior division.
Reigning national junior champion Sarah Tamura, from Champs International Skating Club in Burnaby, will also be competing.
The top four finishers in pre-novice through senior singles, dance and pairs will earn a trip to the Skate Canada Challenge, Nov. 30 to Dec. 4 in Montreal.
The top finishers from the Challenge will go on to the Skate Canada national championships.
