Serwa fought her way through heat after heat, with photo-finish endings to earn her second podium finish on the World Cup circuit this season.

"It feels great and I鈥檓 happy to be back on the podium," said Serwa, who also won silver in Italy in December. I wanted to finish the season strong and I鈥檓 really happy with today鈥檚 race. I raced smart and had fun.

"It鈥檚 been helpful to race here and help me build confidence for the next time we鈥檙e back in 2018."

It was Serwa's third medal overall this season, as she won gold for the second time in her career last month at the X Games in Aspen, CO.

Serwa returned to World Cup competition this season after taking the the previous year off to heal from injrues and to further her education.
