Vernon Golf and Country Club head professional Adam Blair finished fourth overall in the PGA of BC Career and Professional Development Top 100.

It's a top-five finish for a Vernon golf professional on and off the links.

Adam Blair from the Vernon Golf and Country finished fourth overall in the 2024 PGA of BC Career and Professional Development Top 100, as determined by the association’s Career and Professional Development Program (PDP) points race.

The PDP points race acknowledges PGA of BC Professionals who make outstanding contributions to the association, their communities, the province’s golf industry and, most importantly, themselves. The PDP provides an avenue to showcase and reward the diverse strengths of PGA of BC Professionals by crediting their participation in continuing education, the association’s annual Trade Show, and various forms of volunteerism.

Blair collected a total of 68 points during the year.

Ryan Tofani of Sandpiper Golf Course, near Agassiz, finished atop the program with 103 points. He was the runner-up in 2023.

"PDP Points Champion is such a fantastic achievement and something I'm very proud of," said Tofani to the PGA of BC. "To have my name on the list along with some of the best professionals in our association is an honour."

Chris Ward (Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, Vancouver) earned runner-up honours with 95 points. Rounding out the podium, Dylan Nickel (Chilliwack Golf Club) finished in third place with 74 points.

Four other Vernon golfers finished in the top 100 – Bradlee Jones and Brook Jones from the Vernon Golf and Country Club; Kyla Inaba of Predator Ridge Resort; and Austin Bosquet from The Rise Resort.

Bradlee was fifth overall among assistant professionals.
