It was a day to give back to the community

Employees from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union, joined by Valley First President Susan Ewanick, rolled up their sleeves to lend a helping hand at the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club in 91大黄鸭 as part of Make a Difference Days late last month.

The community service program facilitates volunteer opportunities and encourages employee involvement at local non-profit organizations and charities.

鈥淓very October, a hundred or so of our Valley First employees make a commitment to leave their offices and volunteer at community and non-profit organizations during our annual Make a Difference Days,鈥 Ewanick. 鈥淭his year, I had the privilege of volunteering at the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club in 91大黄鸭, an organization dedicated to helping youth by providing a healthy and supportive environment in which they can thrive.

鈥淎t Valley First, we strongly believe in finding ways to make a meaningful difference in the communities that we serve, and I can鈥檛 think of a better partner to bring that to fruition than the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club.鈥
