The Bridge Youth and Family Services has received a $58,000 donation from the Sovereign Order of St. John Okanagan Chapter (SOSJO).

The money was raised through the SOSJO鈥檚 Rockin鈥 in the Vines fundraising event, held in August, and will go to the Bridges鈥 Beyond the Blues program.

The Stober Foundation also matched up to $25,000 in donations.

鈥淚 am deeply moved by the overwhelming success of this event,鈥 said Jennifer Scott, manager of parent education and support. 鈥淭he funds raised will be instrumental in providing access to postpartum depression education and support, community resources, counselling services, and a safe place to build essential connections with others who understand their journey.鈥

Beyond the Blues is a weekly therapeutic program that facilitates and promotes recovery from postpartum depression and anxiety.
