The 5th annual Miracle on 97th St. was hosted on Nov. 10 at 97 Street Pub.

The fifth annual Miracle on 97th Street held at 97 Street Pub, was a success on Nov. 10, bringing together community members, sponsors, musicians and advocates in support of those living with bipolar disorder in the Okanagan.

Put together by the Dakota Foundation for Bipolar Awareness, the event raised $6,000 which has been allocated to support the Healthy Essentials Clinic in Lake Country.

鈥淎ll proceeds from this event will go toward ensuring families receive the support they desperately need and help provide counselling services, information, and tools for individuals and families impacted by bipolar disorder, addressing the immediate need for mental health resources in the region,鈥 said Dakota Foundation spokesperson, Brad Krauza. 鈥淲e are honoured to partner with Healthy Essentials Clinic and grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, musicians and the community for making this possible.鈥

Featured performers of the day included Black Hat Wagon, Layer Cake Mountain, Floyd Vedan and Linus.
