A new look 91大黄鸭 Rockets team takes the ice this weekend as the WHL trade deadline has come and on.
As the team retools, they traded away Andrew Cristall, Caden Price, Marek Rocak, and Landon Cowper in the last week.
On Friday, Jan. 9, the team welcomes the Prince George Cougars to Prospera Place for a 7:05 p.m. puck drop.
The next night, 91大黄鸭 goes down to the Lower Mainland to take on the Vancouver Giants at the Langley Events Centre at 7 p.m.
Going into the weekend, the Rockets sit ninth in the Western Conference with a record of 14-18-2-1. Prince George is second in the conference at 24-10-3-2 while Vancouver is 19-16-4-0 (seventh).
West 91大黄鸭 Warriors
The West 91大黄鸭 Warriors welcome a pair of Alberta foes this weekend as they welcome the Okotoks Oilers and Blackfalds Bulldogs to Royal LePage Place.
Going into the final weekend before the all-star break, the Warriors sit in the final playoff spot in the Interior Conference with a record of 11-15-5-2. Okotoks sits seventh at 15-15-0-0 while Blackfalds sits last in the entire BCHL with just eight points: 3-26-2-0.
The Warriors and Oilers face off at 7 p.m. on Friday while they take on the Bulldogs at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

It's a home-and-home weekend for the 91大黄鸭 Chiefs as they take on the Osoyoos Coyotes.
The two teams play at 91大黄鸭's Rutland Arena on Friday night and at the Osoyoos - Sun Bowl Arena on Saturday night. Both games begin at 7 p.m.
On point separates these two teams in the Bill Ohlhausen Division as Osoyoos is 11-16-1-1 (24 points) and 91大黄鸭 is 10-16-0-3 (23 points).
