Don't worry Vice and Virtue Brewing fans, their beers are here to stay.
Vice and Virtue co-owner Matt Wentzell told Black Press Media that as part of the sale to Red Bird Brewing, they were giving their recipes up as well but wasn't sure if they would make them or not.
Red Bird confirmed in a press release on Tuesday, Dec. 17 that they will be making Vice and Virtue's beers.
"Your favourite Vice & Virtue beer won’t be gone for long and cans will be available in the Red Bird Taproom sometime soon in the new year," reads the release.
Red Bird also stated they are looking to grow their coffee side of the business, as space they are taking over at 1037 Richter Street (the current Vice and Virtue location) will turn into Red Bird Roasting Lab.
"In the lab, we’ll be roasting coffee and offering tastings that take you through various ways to enjoy our coffee at home,"
Red Bird currently has bags of their coffee available at their taproom.
